About Me
I’m Julia Zeidler, an educational researcher with a founder’s mindset – connecting insight, impact and innovation.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Educational Science and Psychology (Heidelberg University). I am currently studying International Educational Research at the University of Gothenburg and I am a recipient of a scholarship from the Stiftung der deutschen Wirtschaft. If you are interested in hearing about my experiences during the scholarship, click here. My academic interests span education systems, performance assessment, gender biases and student motivation – with a strong interest in quantitative methods and interdisciplinary thinking. I’m especially drawn to innovative approaches that connect research with real-world challenges. This is why I am enthralled about the tension field between (educational) science and practice. Whether in academia or applied projects, I am motivated by the question: How can knowledge help us design better futures?
